What Are The Best Cam Sites To Work For?
What is the best cam site that you should cam on, you ask? Haha, that is a tough one. If there was a one-site-fits-all-models, we’d surely be all on there and camming our hearts out. As we all know, there are a lot of cam sites to chose from. From our experience, the real truth on what is the “best” cam site comes down to asking yourself a different question: What is the best cam site for me?
Best Cam Sites To Work For & Make Money
Before we get started on our discussion about the determining the best cam sites to model on here is a list of all camming sites that are recruiting cam models. We only included sites that are well known, have a solid reputation and are not studios or white labels. This means you will work directly for the site for the highest payout rate available.

Considerations When Deciding A Site To Cam On
Time & Experimentation
We can tell you with certainty that what works for one cam model may not work at all for you. For example, if we told you exactly how we cam and you followed everything perfectly, you may not make that much money.
Therefore, the only real way to find the best site for you is to spend time and experiment with different sites. We know this probably isn’t the answer any one wants to hear.
We certainly understand the instinct to just jump right into camming and then be able to make hundreds per night consistently. Maybe that happens for some models. However, it’s more likely that you will have to test the waters with a lot of sites and find what works for you.
Find More Than One Site
It’s also a good idea to have more than one cam site to rely on, even if you are making great money from one site. Many cam models refer to the phrase, “Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket!” frequently.
You never know when a site will be down for maintenance or have technical issues or get banned or if you just plain hate working on there and want something fresh, among so many other possible scenarios.
Cam Site Criteria
Despite our strong belief that you will need to try out sites for yourself to see what clicks, here are seven (hey, a lucky number) pieces of criteria to help guide you along your camming journey.
We know we’re all looking to save time so it is our hope that this helps in determining whether or not you should even bother signing up to a particular cam site.
(1) Ensure the site is not a white label or studio
This may seem obvious to some but this cannot be over stated. Absolutely make sure that the cam site you’re going to sign up for is the actual cam site and is not a studio or a white label.
There are many studios and white labels that do their best to disguise themselves as a cam site. On our list of cam sites are only safe, non-studio and non-white label sites. * On a side note, there are a few really great studios out there but they are very few and far between. In general, it is best to stay away from them.
(2) Check cam site traffic
Traffic is really important. It is one of the main justifications for giving a site 50% or more of what customers are spending on you. The more traffic there is, the more chances you have at many people finding your room and tipping you and/or taking you private. If the site is well known then, chances are, the traffic will be decent.
One test we like to do is go to the cam site and click on the first row of cam models. Do they look bored out of their mind or are they interacting with their room? If they are interacting with their room, chances are that the traffic is great. Even better, if the cam models are interacting and they are way down on the page.
(3) Investigate Page Positioning
One important aspect of webcam modeling is where you will be placed on the cam site’s page. Generally, the higher you are on the page, the more traffic you will get and the more likely it is that you will be tipped and/or taken private. Some cam sites sort the models through number of users in the room.
Other cam sites sort the models through a “cam score” system (the models that make more per hour online, the higher they are placed). Some cam sites even place you based on a number of factors, such as camming in HD. Knowing how you are sorted and what will work best for you and your camming style, may take time to determine.
(4) Determine if there are other ways to make money
This one might sound silly at first but it is useful when a cam site allows cam models to sell other services such as photos, videos or texting. This can be done through the cam site itself and/or by being able to link to yourself on a website where you can sell adult pictures and videos. Each cam site has their own rules regarding these policies.
For example, some cam sites do not allow you to link to any outside information or they may not allow you to watermark any content you upload to sell on the site. Check the rules carefully.
(5) Is it a free chat site or private based?
This one is all about your camming style, which, here again, may take you time and experimentation to figure out which one you like better. If you like the idea of a group environment and having a set goal and performing in front of a lot of people then free chat sites might be what you first want to try.
If, however, you like the idea of a one-on-one environment or only performing when you are being paid per minute then private sites might be what you first want to try. If either one sounds okay, try both and follow the money. Some models do insanely well with free chat sites while other models do insanely well on private sites.
(6) What is the pay structure?
Payment is obviously important. You will want to find out how the cam site pays. Do they send a check? Do they have direct deposit? Is there a minimum you have to reach before you get paid? Are there fees associated with being paid? Does the cam site pay in US dollars or Euros? These are just a few examples of questions you will want answered before you sign up.
(7) Features and Feelings
This may sound odd but, for us, we personally found this true. Does the site have features that you find interesting, useful or neat? Some sites host contests, offer extra for recruiting members, or have applications to make camming more fun and/or lucrative. Do you feel like the site just “fits” with your personality and camming style the most?
Sometimes, you may not be able to explain it but a certain cam site may just feel like it’s a good fit for whatever reason. Don’t get us wrong, there is certainly no perfect cam site. However, again, from time and experimentation, you will be able to more easily find what you like and don’t like and stay with the sites that work best for you.
Your Camming Journey
Hopefully, this begins to tell you a little bit more about how to find the best camming site for you. It will take time to research and try various cam sites but we believe this to be necessary to find what you like best, what fits your style and what makes you the most money.
